Game 5 of the NBA Finals. The Miami Heat lead the Oklahoma City Thunder three games to one.

The Thunder need to win three straight games in order to win the Finals, while the Heat have to win only one of the next three. Needless to say, the Thunder have a steep slope to climb.

With two evenly matched teams, the Finals could be decided on “who wants it more.”

The Heat need to win this, or their title hopes could be in serious danger. With a loss in Game 5, the Heat would face two games in OKC against a re-energized Thunder lineup. So you can expect the Heat to bring everything they’ve got for Game 5.

Doubtless, the Thunder will also bring everything they’ve got. Scott Brooks was quoted post-Game 4 saying “we’re going to give everything for 48 minutes.” And you have to take him at his word: his Thunder teams rarely quit. They’ll be fighting to the end – win or loss.

Game 5 will be exciting, and it should come down to the last few minutes. The superb “clutchness” of Kevin Durant will go up against the underrated 4th-quarter play of LeBron James. It’s honestly an even battle.

(Very) Bold prediction: Oklahoma City pulls out a thrilling Game 5 win, 100-97.

Computer Predictions by DynamicPicks:

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Miami Heat

Projected win: Miami, 66.5% – CORRECT

Projected ATS win: Miami -3.5, 52.0% – CORRECT

Avoid betting on this game. The straight up has no value for either team, and the spread is terrible at -3.5.
